Executive Profiles

Lee Tate

A former senior officer of Key Tronic Corporation, Sperry Univac, and Texas Instruments, Lee managed Key Tronic Europe operations in Ireland during the late 80’s employing 350 people and generating revenues of $25 million annually. In 1990 Lee decided to leave Key Tronic to start up his own company, Rocky Mountain Power Wash. When that didn’t succeed, he resolved to get back to what he was good at and in 1992 Tate Technology was born. In 2013 Lee sold a majority of the company to his son, Scott, at which time Scott became President. Lee has since retired from Tate Technology but remains busy running his other two companies: Pipe Debonder Corp. and ScalePro Corp.

Scott Tate

Scott joined Tate Technology in 2007 as a sales engineer. He spent his previous career as a mechanical engineer doing product design in various industries, both commercial and industrial. Some projects he worked on include Keurig coffee makers, Delta faucets, kitchen cabinets, diamond drill bit presses, just to name a few. He had a three year tenure selling industrial control products in Utah immediately before joining Tate Technology. His background in engineering and industrial sales allows him to understand the challenges that our customers face and more importantly to understand how Tate Technology can help solve those challenges. From sales to defining our processes and setting up manufacturing areas for efficiency to troubleshooting customer issues, Scott maintains an active role in every aspect of the company.
